This thing is great. I had a 15lb blanket that was a twin size, and I wanted a King size to cover my whole bed, so I went with the 35lb to get comparable weight distribution. I probably could've gone with the 40lb and it would feel a little closer to being under the smaller 15lb blanket, but this has been great. Everything says to pick one that's like 10% of your bodyweight, but don't forget to factor in the size. If you're getting a Twin size, the 10% bodyweight makes sense; but a King, where you're only under 20-25% of the blanket at any given time, you have to multiply it up. Otherwise it's just going to feel like a little bit heavier comforter.I fall asleep faster and sleep deeper when I'm out than I ever did with just my cotton comforter.I have the "cold side" facing me because I heat up when I sleep and can't sleep well if I'm hot, it's amaizing how it stays cool for such a big blanket. This is thicker than the cotton layer I replaced, but half as hot, which is perfect for me, even in the winter.
