DC shoes that you don't like are always instantly comfortable. I've never had a size issue and have been buying DCS for decades now. Rule of thumb: Never adjust shoes to fit your feet, as they tend to be too small! Match the balls of your feet to the widest part of the sole no matter where your toes are.
