DC shoes that you don't like are always instantly comfortable. I've never had a size issue and have been buying DCS for decades now. Rule of thumb: Never adjust shoes to fit your feet, as they tend to be too small! Match the balls of your feet to the widest part of the sole no matter where your toes are. For example, if you wear a size and it feels tight, try a size 9, and if your foot feels relieved, try walking in it. They may seem weird at first, but trust me. This is how shoes should be bought. I learned this from a real shoe salesman over 35 years ago and have never had an uncomfortable shoe since.
