After reading all the negative reviews that the case does not work with the Apple MacBook Air M1, I am pleased to report that it definitely does . few seconds of installation. You can fully open/close the case with no gap issues, and the fit is nice and snug. The keyboard cover fits great and even has the right (mini) sized cutouts for the left and right arrow keys. It even comes with an extra keyboard cover in case you lose or damage it. Adds some resistance to keystrokes, but also adds a bit more grip and doesn't shift. Generally pleasant tactile sensations. I don't plan on using a plastic screen protector, although it feels nice. I wish they also had a protective pad on the trackpad or instead. Time will tell if the plastic holds up to everyday use, but for $12 I'm not too upset if it doesn't, having realistic expectations. That's fantastic value!
