I like the concept so I bought it. The reality is that the process is lengthy and cumbersome. I would be fine with the nails looking professional. Whilst mine looked fine on top after a few tries the nail back remained thick, for lack of a better word there were beads of gel underneath the tip of my real nail as the form was pressed against the nail, the polish built up. at the tip of the nail and is difficult to smooth out. If you apply a thin layer of gel, the hardened nail will bend and break. I repainted my nails 3 times. It was a little better each time, but nowhere near a salon gel manicure. If you are making this purchase, I strongly encourage you to purchase nail clips. When wet, the shapes slide and pop easily.
