The UV lamp is broken and won't turn on. I tried soaking my hands in ice water but it didn't work and now both my hands are very sticky. the quality was ok considering it was my first time using polygel. I suppose if the UV lamp was working then everything would be fine, but it isn't. tried turning it on and off. It might have worked if given a few hours of charging, but it just broke. I spent $30 and I have all these materials but no UV lamp :((

I like the concept so I bought it. The reality is that the process is lengthy and cumbersome. I would be fine with the nails looking professional. Whilst mine looked fine on top after a few tries the nail back remained thick, for lack of a better word there were beads of gel underneath the tip of my real nail as the form was pressed against the nail, the polish built up. at the tip of the nail and is difficult to smooth out. Has everything I need! This was my first time getting my nails done and it was quite a lot of fun! As a beginner, I find extra nail clips and a nail file helpful, but not essential. Excellent lamp. The colors are as advertised. The only downside is that the gel tube is only half full, maybe only enough for 10 fingers per tube if you like long/thick nails.

Polygel is so thick it's hard to squeeze out after you've done it about twice. After making both hands, the tube is ready. After that, the polygel nails break off like a dried puddle. It comes with a full length 30/60 sec UV light. There are many nail shapes, but they are wide/broad. I'd be surprised if someone used them and actually got out of the house before they broke. This polygel is NOT good. I have no idea where all these good reviews are coming from.
