So, I’m a gel polish advocate but I thought I would give this a try. It is easy and perfect for a beginner; however, the smell is INSANELY strong. It smells like a high strength nail glue that’s you’d buy from Walmart or even dollar tree. I thought it was just the base coat and figured that made sense but it’s not. The base coat, activator and top coat all have the same string smell.As far as using the product, it was fairly easy. I recommend purchasing a nail drill to make the process quicker.

This is a very nice kit for doing dip nails. The set includes a lot of beautiful colors, along with the base coat, activator, top coat, and brush cleaner. They also included a buffer and a few extra brushes. There is a bit of a learning curve with dip nails, but this is an economical way to get started. Once complete, the dip nails are very strong and hold up better than gel polish.

Great starter set that comes with everything you need for at home dip nails. I wasn’t expecting all of the colors to have some form of glitter in them - usually not my cup of tea but it’s tastefully done in the end. The colors are very light, bright and pretty.I definitely recommend watching YouTube videos if you’re new to this. Not the easiest or cleanest method for a long lasting manicure (I stan for gel polish) but it does last longer than gel polish.

Ok so I'm not the best at this. This was my first time, but I do feel like this was easy, if you follow the directions which they do send in the box. I think you need to have some patience because to be precise hou really can rush this process. The dip powder is super simple to use, files smooth, and looks very nice. I played with a false nail first to see how well it would apply on acrylics, and wad pleasantly surprised by how well it adhered. My only complaint is that there isn't nearly enough Activator for the amount of dip powder provided. Each nail needs dipped 3 times, which means 3 applications of Activator. The Activator will run out after maybe 3 or 4 full sets of nails.

This was my first time trying dip powder. I've followed the directions and the colors came out really pretty but they started peeling off my nails after about a week. I'm not sure if that's something to be expected or maybe my natural nails were not buffed enough to hold on to the color, or these are intended to last longer on the fake nails.I will try again and revise my review if my experience changes.

I love all the colors to the dip powders and how much it brings! Unfortunately my box had a spillage of the #02 Activator which is important to use. I reached out to the company on this matter so now I'm just waiting on a response! It came all spilled inside to the point where some of the jars were VERY stuck to the box but I was able to remove them. These colors are stunning. I am sensitive to this dip liquid so I use gellish brand instead, but the colors are nice. The tools are a little on the cheap end, you will definitely want different brushes and need some better files and an orange stick, but these work for beginners to see if you like dip nails. I think that the powders are really pretty and a good addition to your collection. If this was at the 20 dollar mark it would be a good deal.

This is a pretty good set to get started with dip powder. The bottles are full size. I don't know if the powders are considered regular size, though. I've seen larger size powders with other brands. I tried this out on my daughters nails today and we did multicolor. She’s 9 and typical polish peels. This is like a nice hard gel so it will last a lot longer. She enjoyed the process and it was easy to do and dry time with our LED lamp made it so easy.
