I bought this toy, yes, I am older, but I had finished a heavy equipment class and wanted to "practice" at home. When the product arrived I had fun till the battery drained. I charged the battery in preparation to drive the toy into my instructors office. The next morning as I sat in the classroom, I plugged the battery in and started to sync the remote when all of a sudden smoke appeared from the "engine" compartment (aka battery). At first I thought "cool, it has an exhaust feature" but when I opened the compartment I had the wires from the motor to the battery melting!I reached out to the seller and after few emails and pictures, the seller was willing to send me a new one, free of charge. Seller assured me that he/she would research with the manufacture to find out if other defects similar to mine had happened. It was so refreshing to have a seller be willing to work with me on this.
