Review on ๐ŸŒก๏ธ Dorman 620-426 Radiator Fan Assembly: Efficient Cooling Solution for Optimal Performance by Sean Flint

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Works great in engine cooling and air conditioning systems

I bought this to solve the overheating problem when towing a trailer. The Frontier comes with an extra fan connected from the factory, but the model I have doesn't have one. The fan is placed in the space between the radiator grille and the radiator and simply connected to the factory connections (mechanical and electrical). It would be great if it included the two M6-1.0 x 10mm bolts and two M6-1.0 nuts needed for assembly, but they are sold as spares so you probably already have them. If they could find a way to secure the top right hole (facing the front of the car) with a fastener that would be great. It is located behind the grille and bumper and must be removed to install this nut. I just missed it, the other three hold it well enough. Over time I found that it runs too hard, for example when the engine is not very hot. Control is via a factory temperature sensor next to the radiator on a metal tongue. I bent the tongue slightly from the radiator which made it turn on only when hot. Delivered quickly, although it is written that delivery may take additional days.
