Incompatible Coupler Heads

I purchased this item to extend an Atwood 14367-6 trolling motor quick coupler kit I bought a few weeks earlier. Judging by the Revain photos, the black connector heads looked the same in both kits. When I received the extension cord, I was surprised to find that the head was over 20cm narrower than the trolling motor cord head, so it "doesn't fit". The extension cord looks high quality. Please note that not all black quick connectors are necessarily compatible. The trolling motor connector head is 0.79 inches long. The extension head is 0.626 inch.
