I bought this laptop for its weight and that's the only positive thing I can say about it. The computing power is not very high, so the performance did not convince me. But considering the price, I'm happy with it. However, the most important thing for me is OS-WINDOWS 10-IN S MODE. I've never heard of S mode and didn't realize it when buying a laptop. Apparently, S mode is Microsoft's way of ensuring you're only using their apps and products by blocking external apps from loading. You have to get them all through their store. For example, when I tried to download Norton Antivirus from the Norton official website, Microsoft S-Mode told me it was not possible. All files outside of their storage will be blocked for download. To exit S mode, you need to change it in settings, but then you need to use the Windows 10 Home or Pro registry key. So I spent another $130 to get a fully functional operating system. Include that price in the price of this laptop. THEN - After purchasing Windows 10 Home I had to spend 4 days trying to get the laptop to accept my switch from S mode as Microsoft had handy server bugs on their end and therefore could not process my request at that time . Time. This is a common problem, at least from what I've read among those discussing S-Mode on the Reddit forums. Several people have reported that Microsoft is having server issues when trying to disable S mode. Very dissatisfied with this laptop for the sole reason that the OS is Windows 10 in S mode. It was impractical and one of the most useless things I've ever seen preinstalled on a computer. Gave me a huge and unnecessary headache.
