Review on πŸ—‘οΈ InSinkErator Badger 1 Continuous Feed Garbage Disposal with Cord, 1/3 HP by Bennie Wilks

Poor workmanship but not the worst on the market

Unfortunately if you need a slide this is the only brand worth buying. The bracket system is excellent so replacing a broken block is easy. Just use the existing bracket and put in a new block and trust me you will be replacing it every 4-6 years. If you have a direct wire available, do yourself a favor and install an outlet under the sink, and when replacing the unit, order a model with the cord already connected. To save time. I once bought a GE salvage device, the mount was terrible and it died after 2 years. So it was back to the Insinkerator, God help me. Now I'd rather not have a Fiat at all but I've been married 29 years it's not a fight I'm going to win so I'll just go and replace her. These devices rust to hell. Sometimes the hull tears and leaks. To be honest every time I have replaced the block it has seized due to rust. Look at the photos in the reviews, this is very common. Now there is a stainless steel model for a lot of money. I never bought this model but the reviews say they rust like hell too and last about the same so why bother. My 2 cents.
