I had to connect to my computer to change the default to HDMI so I could connect to the TV. After that it is very easy to work. I've had other systems but I find the interface much simpler. About a month later I noticed that he wasn't recording. I checked the settings and the hard drive doesn't show up. I had to turn it off and restart for it to find the hard drive. Recorded less than a day before the hard drive kept losing. I checked all the program settings and found that I had to ask for a replacement. I sent an email which was answered very quickly.
