I bought these for mountain biking as I am generally a happy and potentially dangerous person, prone to accidents and have a penchant for dangerous activities. They fit perfectly right out of the box. They're hot to the touch until you're sweaty, and then suddenly they turn icy. They breathe very well for their weight and impressive protection. As I pedaled, even in the long hills, I almost forgot I had them on. I've bottled them several times in the days since I bought them and I'm proud to say they are stronger than they look. And best of all, I can't attribute any chafing, tingling, twisting, or general distress to them. Overall I would recommend to any mountain biker looking for a medium to high level of protection without sacrificing comfort.
