Review on 🧦 CompressionZ Unisex Compression Socks 30-40 mmHG - Firm Support Stockings by Jeff Richmond

Revainrating 4 out of 5

The best I've found on Revain, albeit a little too long. Should be a short version. It can also be more durable.

Fed up with these medium and small socks, I also tried the medium Jobst socks. I know about compression. When skiing, I wear compression stockings all day and then recovery stockings. These socks provide adequate compression. If you feel they are too tight, this is not a sock. That's you. If you know you're overweight, choose less compression or go up in size. These Z compression stockings appear to be made from a very similar material to Jobst's, but much thicker and denser. They also have boost areas to put more pressure on zones unlike Jobst. Although the Compression Zs were tighter than the Jobsts, which fell off my calf at the end of the day, I went with a small because I felt they were too long for a medium size. They climbed about halfway to the patella, which cut off blood flow in her back as there is a stronger ligament. They should stop about an inch below the knee. Even the little one was too long, although I was able to stretch it so the end was just below the knee. I've also been able to stretch my leg so that the heel is halfway to my Achilles tendons, but again, without stretching as much, I got things in the right place. I can still handle low Z compression, although I'd say it's tight, probably 50-60mmHg. Actually, to solve the length problem, I now roll the sock back (as if you're taking it off) at the point where the calf starts. This now gives me a little more compression in the ankle area because the toe is doubling up in that area. However, I can sleep with them all night without experiencing any side effects. FYI: I wear a size 8, I have a very wide foot and medium calf (14 inches). I use this to prevent and reduce swelling after a fairly serious ankle fracture, which doesn't mean I don't use socks in the sensitive area. In terms of durability, after 3-4 uses, the first pair had a slight tear in the ankle area. This hasn't affected the performance of the sock, but other cracks will follow. I expect 40-50 uses before they fail. All other socks are worn normally, so it could be a defect. From what I've learned, joint compression promotes healing My foot and ankle orthopedist advised me to try compression, although he didn't give me a specific pressure or brand. After wearing the Compression Z socks for just one day, I saw a big difference in my foot morphology, and that's for a medium sized sock. Small ones work even better! I recommend the Compression Z. I just wish they had a petite or short version for smaller people (I'm 5-8 inches so not really that short!). Hence one star deducted. I hope this review helps you choose.
