I bought three of these fans for cooling and air blowing. First, they let a lot of air through, and unless you're overly concerned about noise, they do an excellent job. Also, the fans on the stand keep spinning no matter how hard I pull on the clamps on the sides. . And after about 3 years of use, all 3 fans sound like they shot through the bearings. Now they are SUPER loud and I'm not sure if they can be fixed. With quirks, they worked great initially, but now they're definitely not worth the money. Sorry Vornado, you have room to improve on this
