Beautiful illuminated mirror that gives a small bathroom a modern, elegant look. Since it only has a backlight, it's not very practical for makeup or room lighting. Just adds a nice aesthetic and a bit of extra light, especially if you have brightly painted walls that it can bounce off. I love that the mirror itself is unframed and gives a very thick/substantial look compared to typical cheap slab mirrors that are held in place with small metal clips. I love being able to adjust the color temperature to match the warmer tone of my dressing table. Setting up a hardwired connection was very easy. I don't recommend buying it if you want to connect to the nearest outlet. Cable no longer than 3 feet. The only major downside was that it was difficult to perfectly measure and install the drywall anchors and screws to ensure the mirror was properly attached and aligned. I ended up throwing out the screws and anchors that came with the mirror and used stronger anchors and drywall screws from Home Depot as I felt they would hold up better over time given the heavy weight of the mirror. Aligning the 2 screws isn't that difficult, but getting the mirror to attach all 4 screws was very difficult, even after taking lengthy measurements and careful screw placement. A small drawback is that the mirror turns on with a slight delay. . I have a light and vanity mirror that both run from the same switch and the light comes on instantly while the mirrors take a second. I think the product could be improved by adding a mounting hole template to the box as is the case with TV wall mounts to help with screw placement, or by moving from screws and eye holes to a batten mounting system that's just yours must be set a flat bar on the wall and hung a mirror on it.
