Replaced 2003 Yukon 5.3 Gas

I had a tensioner with a heat tensioner so I decided to order and replace that as well. Perfect fit, very easy to replace. OEM from Canada

Cons
  • Some problems

Squeaking after a few months

Squeaking after a few months already, It's NOT an OEM, or it's a fake. How do I know it's that pulley? A squirt of water is instantly soothing.

Works well - Easy replacement

Exact fit for 2002 Vortec 8100 (8.1L 496). Disappointed that the kit didn't include a metal spacer/washer for the front of the pulley, but the instructions say newer pulleys don't require this so it can be left out. I did not reuse the old gasket from the old pulley as it was rusty. No problems so far - about 5,000 miles.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Some little things

I will not buy again. for parts

I bought this pulley and two idler pulleys (anything that can be swapped out) for my Trailblazer SS. After 4 months, two out of three are squeaking like crazy! Two new AC Delco belts were also installed at the same time. I live in Wisconsin so I drive through snow, mud and car washes which makes it worse. Very disappointing! I thought an AC Delco would do?

Pros
  • Nice packaging

Suitable for Silverado 4.8 2002

Perfect fit. Same as the old one. My 02 Silverado 4.8 165 sometimes squeaks when starting. Tried to find out It was very easy to replace. Simply remove the strap and loosen the screw. easy money. Attached is a photo of the old part. And installed a new part. I hope this fixes my occasional intermittent beeping sound. Only squeaks when left in parking lot for more than 10 days.

Pros
  • Robust construction
Cons
  • Concealable

Exact replacement for idler pulley

Bought due to intermittent squeaking in my suburban 05. Was an exact replacement however the part received is slightly different from the photo which is my reason for 4 stars. The center is made slightly differently and does not include a plastic dust cover. Otherwise I would buy again. An excellent solution for a part that wears out on high mileage engines. The exchange lasted 5 minutes.

Fast Delivery, Right Part, Great Price

Perfect replacement for 2004 Silverado 5.3L pickup. Installation was quick, dramatic and easy. Fixed general sounds on these trucks. For best results, replace as many pulleys (idler, air conditioner idler) as possible at one time with new belts. This saves a lot of time during disassembly, since the tensioner can be replaced in about 10 minutes. I also check the part numbers against the ACDelco Parts Guide available online. This has been reliable proof of all my GM auto parts purchases.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Operating Speed

This ACDelco 36299 professional pulley with screw was the easiest to install. The whole thing took 10 minutes. (Or Plug and Play) I installed this on my 1997 GMC Sierra. If you hear a small beep at startup, there's a good chance this is your problem. (also belt tensioner) the only thing that made my old part different from the new one was the size of the screw. Was 13mm, now 15mm. The thread has not changed at all, only the screw head. See photos for old, new and installed.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Expensive

Direct OEM replacement for my 2008 Yukon Denali. I replaced the tensioner along with this one when I changed the serpentine belt and A/C belt at the same time, all original at 126,000 miles. This idler pulley is a quality part and the price was very good thanks to Revain; However, my only concern is that the listed size is wrong: 5.2 x 5.2 x 1.5 inches (WRONG). Ironically, ACDelco also lists this size everywhere. It's the same as my original pulley, just over 3.5 in diameter. See photos for my…
