Review on πŸ”‘ Logitech Keys-to-Go: Ultra-Portable Stand-Alone Keyboard for iPad, iPhone, and Apple TV - Compatible with all iOS Devices by Jerry Bergstad

Great keyboard but high price

I bought the red version of this keyboard two years ago when I was at university. I was perfect then because it was light and just as long as the iPad Air 2 I had back then. The battery lasted a month! Easy connection. Surprisingly deep travel per key, there are separate hard keys under the fabric. I have medium/small male hands, so the keyboard can be a bit cramped at first, but you get used to that pretty quickly, especially as the nice "f/J" finger markings are mixed in with great keystrokes just like on a regular keyboard. Please note that there is a version for iOS and Windows/Android. This is iOS version and all shortcuts work as fast as they should. I spilled coffee on the keyboard, wiped it up immediately, and you can see the coating is really accurate. So as long as you don't spill any liquid on the side, you're fine. That being said, I can confirm my IOS keyboard works with my Android tablet and Windows PC, and SOME SHORTCUTS STILL WORK LIKE THE VOLUME CONTROL! When I bought this new keyboard 2 years ago it was $35 but now it's 60 or 70? It started when they released a newer version of the keys with the "logi" logo in the middle of the keyboard. My model is older, with "logitech" written to the left of the battery/Bluetooth indicator. I don't think I would have bought this $70 keyboard as a student, but as a professional it's nice to have a keyboard like this. I've used it on the go with Android tablets and iPad, great for travel, lightweight and seems durable after 2 years.

Pros
  • good thing
Cons
  • too stupid
