works well for me so far, most recently I made spaghetti meat sauce with it. I would say the construction of this item is average for the price I paid. The handles on the sides are well attached, the lid feels a little cheap, but there's no sign of it falling apart or giving me any other issues. The inner jug is one piece and fully glazed so there will be no cleaning issues. Good multi-cooker with no frills. I haven't tried the mini pitcher that came with it. The mini jug is one piece so looks like it has been hand washed and the lid is just cheap plastic. It should be good for warming up the cheese sauce.
