Review on 2 Pcs MUTURQ 25 Degree Surface Cleaner Tips With 2.5 Orifice, 1/4'' Male NPT Threaded Spray Nozzles, 4500 PSI Stainless Steel by Michael Hicks

Very well built! for my opinion

I intentionally took my time shopping for a 20” surface cleaner since I already had a 16” that while it works, doesn’t have wheels so is always on the verge of going airborne if not held down and also regularly requires the hood to be bent back to round or as close as possible. After looking over 20” models for sale (but hadn’t seen this model) I was coming to terms with that I would probably be getting a stainless steel unit and have to pay around $200 for it.And then I saw this model and am so glad I took the time to review and compare all the available offerings, features, etc. Now this one is a plastic resin model but it appears to be very good tool grade plastic. It is built with supporting fins and supports completely throughout the unit and appears to have a metal plate built in sandwiched between the top and bottom (see 8 bolts visible top and bottom in pictures). I’m sure this has been over-engineered and cannot even imagine where or how it could ever break. Furthermore, it’s visibly metal where it needs to be like the caster mounts, which are square, impeccably placed and just look like this was thoughtfully built with attention to detail and not simply thrown together. Now I don’t have anything against SS, but just because my 16” performs like it thinks it’s a drone trying to take off, I don’t want to push a tank around like a strong man competition to wash either. So for it’s size build, it’s light enough that anyone can use it.On top of the fact that it cleans the same as the 16” (I’m pretty sure it’s also spinning 25 degree fan nozzles since that’s the available replacement), when I found this it cost just a little more than $150. The last I saw, however, I was surprised to see that the price went up about $20, which even then is a great buy and less than SS models.Overall, I couldn’t be happier with this purchase and expect it to last a long time.

Pros
  • Surprisingly did a nice job
Cons
  • The stainless steel construction, while durable, has been known to cause friction and scratches on some surfaces, leaving unsightly marks and potential for corrosion
