I'm so upset! This book is amazing, it's awful! For those wondering how it could be with 5 star ratings I guess but my only thought is that everyone here is under 25 so only have 4x6 photos and they never had books that were used, when scrapbooking was really popular in the 90's the pages had a thick plastic sheeting or pockets that could endure decades of turning without wear. I no longer have time to take my photos. I want them to be safe, sleeved, with SEPARATE pockets and keep photos for years or decades. This means that I take photos 3x5, 3x3, 4x6 got. REAL POCKETS means any pocket sized or smaller picture can be put in a pocket. It's not for this book. Since people referred to it as split pockets, I assumed it was true. It is not true. THIS IS A HEAVY PAPER (good paper) PAGE with a thin cheap thin film on it, essentially a "staple" at the corners in the 4 inch space. . Any photo that is less than 6 inches wide, either because it has been cropped or because it is 3.25 x 5 or whatever, will fall through the slot. It's also open on either side of the slots so you can slide it in from the left or right, but it also pops out either side. Some are loose enough to slide in too easily, while others are so tight that the film tears. tries, to fit my 4x6 photo. To use such a high quality book and thick paper and then spoil it because foil is so cheap and ONLY ONE PHOTO SIZE fits in its ORIGINAL CONDITION, THIS IS ABSURB. ESPECIALLY IF YOU DON'T MAKE IT PERFECTLY CLEAR, THIS IS FOR ONE SIZE ONLY! Didn't want to buy the pages separate from the book but it looks like the big companies just have this horrible film paper with the corners bound it will win.
