How to attach to the inside of a cage

We just received this so I can't confirm how well it works yet but wanted to post a review with a picture of how to install it because it was NOT explained well. You attach the included bracket to the feeder by putting a screw through the cage bars, then inserting it into the cage, then taking the round plastic bracket from the outside and screwing it in place.

Solid material is good for eating

Well, first of all my hamster survived my 5 days, but the hamster was fat. I have a glass aquarium and couldn't attach it to the glass, I have to buy suction cups. Then it tips over, the hamster climbs in and eats. I had to get a cylindrical tunnel and place it in the feeder and then prop it up against the glass while I filled the cylinder with feed. The hamster liked it because he slept on one side and ate on the other. Let's say the feeder was more of a shelter than a feeder. As I said, the…

Great for unruly rodents throwing food

I LOVE this feeder. I've been looking for a feeding dish for a long time that my guinea pigs can't turn over and sprinkle their pellets all over my space. Seriously, I think they love doing it. But yes, this feeder holds a lot of food, and because it's die-cast, they don't have any sharp edges to cut themselves on. I can leave them alone all weekend knowing they have enough to eat which is great. I can only recommend this feeder, it costs a few euros more. Fangarang, the feed-throwing pig…

Not for me. Don't waste money.

Poor quality. The product arrived broken. Seems to hold it together, don't queue and the door above doesn't close. The instructions suggest cutting the wires on your cage for outdoor installation, while there are instructions for indoor installation: a screw and a plastic bracket not intended to be held upright. Garbage. Anyone who has a creature larger than a mouse or hamster should not spend money on this item. I bought this for my ferrets who were trying to install despite a defective…

Ideal for vacation!

My husband and I have been out of town for 4 days and I needed a food bowl big enough for my little boy. I broke up some treats and mixed them into his food to encourage him to eat as we had an issue with him not eating when we went out for the night. Unfortunately, he still hasn't eaten his meal. He just ate his hay and drank a decent amount of water. However, when we got home, he started nibbling. As soon as he found the first treat, he started eating popcorn and kept eating. I think if he…

Great rabbit feeder that feeds my bunny for about 5 days

I bought this for my lionhead bunny so I can go away for the weekend and make sure he has enough food. If I fill him up completely he will feed him for about 4-5 days which is one less thing I have to do every day. He doesn't want to chew it, so I can't comment on that. There are holes in the bottom of the bin leaving dust that needs to be cleaned out regularly, but that's not a big deal as I vacuum his drawer every day. I can easily remove the container to fill it and then snap it back on…

Works perfectly! Added pair of zip ties to mount

Bought to keep our bunny fed when we're out of town for a few days. I love it! It works great and has no filling problems of its own. I was concerned about the cage as our bunny loves to chew and knock things over, but she didn't bother at all and has no problem eating out. from that. We buy her big meals with extra little things and she doesn't get constipated or anything. It comes with a screw and two round pieces of plastic to attach it to the cage, but you need a screwdriver and it doesn't…

  • Ideal for a small house

  • Secret

Rats are fun little creatures. They have a habit of delaying eating if you use a regular bowl and feed them once or twice a day. It's cute at first, but it can be painful when you realize they're burying all that food in the bedding and find a lot of food thrown away during cleaning. With this feeder, I no longer have to feed her regular food. on a daily basis, which allows me to focus on feeding her treats from time to time. Also, they stopped hiding food. My rats no longer hide their food…
