Really good group! - Smartwatch Accessory

I received this strap today. I have to say that I really like it. It has a slightly heavy feel which I like. I ended up having to remove 6 links (3 on each side) to fit snugly around my wrist (which an Apple Watch needs). Although I have very small wrists. I started by taking 2 on each side, then 1 more on each side, checking the fit each time. Learning to use the tool was a bit difficult. You can't see where the small hole is to insert the tip of the tool once you put the tape on the tool (I even tried a flashlight, no dice). The tip of my instrument broke on the first try. They send 2 extra tips (opens the bottom of the tool and there they are!). You should know that most people will break it. On the second try, I unscrewed the tool quite a bit and lined up the band where I suspected the hole would be. I moved the band a bit until I felt the tip "pop" slightly in the small hole. I held it in place with my thumb and then rotated the tool while holding it. Once the strip touches the other side of the tool, the tip simply pushes the pin through (it's important to line up the "exit side" of the pin with the hole in the tool so it has room to push through). Remove the tape from the tool and use your fingers to pull the pin all the way out. Repeat the process to remove the pin on the other side of the limb to be removed. To reassemble the band, simply splice the 2 pieces and slide the pin back in (carefully making sure the pin is facing the same direction it was taken out. Both ends are not the same). You can squeeze it almost entirely with your fingers. The latter requires a bit of pressure with a hard surface (I used the side of my needle nose pliers I put in to replace the tip of the tool). They send you very vague written instructions but there is a link to a YouTube video. It's worth seeing. The band came in a small metal box (aluminum?) that reminds me of one of those metal gift boxes, but deeper. When I was done I removed all the packaging foam and used the box to fold the small items that were in my drawer (bonus). Slightly shiny black strap with very fine sequins. If you're expecting a lot of trinkets, don't take this group. I like subtle jewelry and slightly shiny metal. The clasp on my strap never gets lost. In fact, it is almost difficult to open and close. I'm pretty sure it won't open while I'm wearing it (contrary to some reviews). I also have no problem opening it to take it off. I have no idea how well it will hold up over time, but for now it's great. Update: It's been over a year and a half and this tape is still the same as when I bought it. The aftertaste hasn't changed despite the occasional perfume and water. The clasp is still tight. I've been using this band exclusively since I've had it. It was definitely worth the money.
