Solid base and easy to assemble.
This is very sturdy for a small scratching post. Sometimes they can be a little wobbly but this one has a very solid base and doesn't move much when they use it. It was very easy to assemble (took me less than 5 minutes). I love the cat groomer on the bottom for the cats to rub against. I sprinkled a little catnip on it to engage their interest initially but that was really all it took. It's a nice option, especially for small cats and kittens.
