The great thing about swim shirts is their UV protection, the bad thing is they have to be quite snug which my son doesn't really notice from . However, this shirt seems to fit in general. He ordered a size 16, averages 5ft 4in and weighs 115 pounds and wears a size 16 on most clothing brands. Those familiar with Under Armor's slim fit for youth will find that the fit of this shirt is very similar . The sleeves and hem of the shirt are snug against the skin but still a bit loose as expected, especially considering the "thin" nature, the narrowest part of the shirt for my son is right in the chest area - so maybe a bit small. but still manageable. good product.
