Review on πŸ•οΈ Eddie Bauer Home Percale Collection Twin Size Sheet Set: 100% Cotton, Crisp & Cool, Lightweight & Moisture-Wicking Bedding - Campout Design by Jennifer Glasheen

These percale sheets are light and cool, but they aren't crisp and smooth

I prefer soft and smooth sheets that are also cool and light. Percale fabric can achieve this, but yarn quality is crucial. These are not bad sheets and not good sheets for the money ($50-60). I noticed a number of opinions in the comments that I think should be expected. One person's idea of softness and suppleness may not be shared by another. Personally I was hoping for sheets with a smoother, softer texture, but given the price of 200 thread count percale sheets I kept them. In the last 30+ years I have not found a set of sheets that is used daily which means it will last a few years. Without exception, they were torn in places and quickly fell into disrepair. I used to pick the best money could buy. No longer! Now I'm guessing today's bedding isn't meant to last long. Considering how much I paid for EB reeds, I won't be disappointed if they fail in the years to come. And they are not that uncomfortable. Although I was hoping for the best I honestly got what I paid for. I wish I had the money to buy expensive sheets every few years. In my opinion, most 100% cotton sheets that are tumble dried tend to wrinkle. Drying your sheets outside on a clothesline will get rid of most of the wrinkles. If you insist on wrinkle-free sheets, buy a cotton-polyester blend or skip the iron.
