This is a fantastic product. First I read the instructions. When I first used it, I set up the GoPro Session to capture shots at 2-second intervals. I set the Movo MTP-11 to 180 degrees for 60 minutes. I also put it on a tripod and use a couple of extensions on my GoPro along with the included tripod mount (which I'm thankful for!). I thought about lifting the GoPro higher off the MTP-11 so that no part of the MTP-11's base gets caught in the video. I prefer to be mobile and the tripod I am currently using does not have a spirit level. I wasn't sure what level the GoPro was at after installing it on the MTP-11. I wanted a perfect shot without the fisheye effect when the camera is not level. With the eye I got an almost perfect result, but I think that this is a future version, maybe the MTP-12 would be very useful if it had a spirit level to help the user. Pan Grab Hour over the beach and sea. After everything was ready I got ready and went to edit the footage. I'm a Mac user so I use an app called Interval which is a free time-lapse stitching tool. I exported the video and viewed panning. Awwwwww, I felt that. I fast-forwarded in QuickTime and watched it even faster. At last there was a sense of new horizons of my endless future! I'm very excited about this. However, I did notice that there was a noticeable jitter at these settings as I increased the video speed. It's not my hardware or my software (Quicktime) but something with the intervals and the way the MTP-11 moves. I need to test this further, but I edit my video in Final Cut X and press the stabilizer and I was able to smooth out the judder enough to get a good video. I also added some color correction and increased the speed to make the time lapse more interesting. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to do panoramic time-lapse photography. It would be really cool if future versions had a shorter interval, say 10 seconds, 30 seconds and 1 minute. 5 minutes seems the shortest interval to me and I would like to take panoramic photos on it as a panorama. Pros: + This is a durable product. + It's quiet + It's well designed + It works flawlessly + Comes with GoPro tripod mount and mobile phone. the mount is a huge bonus + The instructions are well written despite a few typos (duration should be written as direction?) Cons: - More timer modes like 10 seconds, 30 seconds, 15 seconds etc - Analog design and operation can be more customizable, maybe with a digital LCD interface? This is professional equipment and a professional can do the video post-processing, so I say it's good! Note: The attached video is 180 degrees, 60 minutes on Movo MTP-11 and 2 seconds time lapse at 8 megapixels on GoPro, stitched with Interval on Mac and color corrected/accelerated in Final Cut Pro X. Enjoy! I will use this as often as possible!
