Very happy with it in tripods and monopods

Very happy with it. I used it with my new GoPro 6 and the slow motion video feature. The maximum running time before stopping is 60 minutes. However, you can choose how large the arc you want to cover in that period. I really wish there was a "sweep" function if it could rotate 90 degrees (for example), then flip and go back. I've used it many times before at a friend's lake house and at home for photographing sunsets with time lapse photography etc.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Upgradeable

Round-A-Bout works well with tripods and monopods

Although it has left and right rotation options, it is limited in speed and still requires software to create videos about real estate. In the fastest mode it is still too slow. It can also have maximum control and even sensor tracking (yes I understand it will cost a lot more). Don't get me wrong, this is a good product and I can mount it on a tripod under my camera of choice and walk away knowing it will do its job unattended.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Low repairability

I like everything about the product except that it stops spinning.

Like everything else in the product except it stops spinning after 60 minutes (or the advertised spin time). Setting the rotation angle and time is a good way to specify rotation speed. I just don't understand why it actually stops after 60 minutes. This has to go on. This way I was able to specify 15 degrees with a rotation time of 60 minutes. in 3 hours it would have been 45 degrees. This limits periods of time over 60 minutes extremely. Unsuitable for me.

hyperlapse time. for tripods and monopods

This is a must have for people who like slow motion. Who would have thought Hyperlapse wasn't that difficult. This article will help you with that. In my experience, the battery can last over 4 hours. Worry less about my perfect timing and panning and I can focus on posting instead. The reason I went with the sprocket is because it has a bit of play in the motor. It doesn't turn on immediately. You have to wait a few seconds for it to "lock" with the motor and start spinning. Overall I am…

Pros
  • All right!
Cons
  • Requires outlet

I tried two of them. The first died a few minutes later. The problem with this motorized head is top plate play. This allows the SLR to swing back and forth by at least 5 degrees in the wind. I had to wear rubber bands to keep the camera from swinging, but that only partially worked. Even in slower time lapses you can see the gradual movement of the head. I do a lot of time-lapse photography and I liked the design and simplicity of this device, but it hasn't been tested well as it's not…

Pros
  • It brings joy
Cons
  • The packaging is ugly

Great value for money. Smooth timelapse.

Really good device. Very smooth, fluid motion for a time lapse. Takes interesting shots. The only real disappointment is that it only works for an hour. So if you want to do 4-5 hours of time-lapse photography, you should set the alarm to go off the same second it stops so you can press the start button again for another hour. It seems to me that since many people spend more than 60 minutes in time lapse, it would be easy for them to fix the situation, especially if you want to follow the sun…

Pros
  • Quality assembly
Cons
  • There are problems

Bulky but reliable; Quiet and calm

This device works well when you "translate" strange foreign English instructions and non-standard markings. The top green lights, set with the duration button, are not durations, but angles from 15° to 360°. The red lights of the next row, adjusted with the "RT" button, show the time in 5, 15, 30 and 60 minutes. To change the direction of rotation from right to left, press the Duration and RT buttons at the same time and the indicator will light up. Once you understand this, you're done. The…

I love this motor time lapse panner!

This is a fantastic product. First I read the instructions. When I first used it, I set up the GoPro Session to capture shots at 2-second intervals. I set the Movo MTP-11 to 180 degrees for 60 minutes. I also put it on a tripod and use a couple of extensions on my GoPro along with the included tripod mount (which I'm thankful for!). I thought about lifting the GoPro higher off the MTP-11 so that no part of the MTP-11's base gets caught in the video. I prefer to be mobile and the tripod I am…

Gear offset approx. 3°

Good workmanship, although a little fine-tuning could be useful. So more precise gearing and bearings would make this an issue, but it should be fine for simple time-lapse work. If you're hoping to use it as a star tracker, you'll need to push its limits. Read on to learn more about the internals of the device. The heart of the device is an inexpensive geared stepper motor (probably made in China) driven by an LV8729 (low noise 1/128 microstepping driver) and a PIC16F1937. control it. The power
