This device works well when you "translate" strange foreign English instructions and non-standard markings. The top green lights, set with the duration button, are not durations, but angles from 15° to 360°. The red lights of the next row, adjusted with the "RT" button, show the time in 5, 15, 30 and 60 minutes. To change the direction of rotation from right to left, press the Duration and RT buttons at the same time and the indicator will light up. Once you understand this, you're done. The device rotates silently. I've had very smooth and satisfying results with this device on my Sony AX53 camcorder, and its settings are flexible enough to go full circle in 5 minutes or rotate just 15° in an hour for time-lapse effects . My main complaint is that it's heavy on the tripod and can wobble if left unsecured. I also wish there was a level meter and a way for it not to go out of level when you need to point up. Charging with the micro USB cable also takes a few hours but seems to hold a charge pretty well. Comes in a nice soft zip case. I recommend that you start shooting before you turn on the camcorder and stop the video before you turn it off. Make sure you know which way it's going to turn, as at the slowest speeds it's hard to tell if it's moving at all.
