I do a lot of time lapses and I liked the design and simplicity of this device
I tried two of them. The first died a few minutes later. The problem with this motorized head is top plate play. This allows the SLR to swing back and forth by at least 5 degrees in the wind. I had to wear rubber bands to keep the camera from swinging, but that only partially worked. Even in slower time lapses you can see the gradual movement of the head. I do a lot of time-lapse photography and I liked the design and simplicity of this device, but it hasn't been tested well as it's not designed for high-quality shooting.
