It does not wash off the fabric and causes the smell of old vegetable oil.
I have used this as a massage therapist who has clients who are allergic to other ingredients. Initially no smell. But now I've had to throw out several sets of sheets because the rancid smell of vegetable oil seems to have seeped into the sheets during the wash. Even soaking the affected sheets in clear green hot water for 6 hours did not eliminate the odor. It continues with the allergen-reduced Biotone cream, which I like much better and which really washes out of the bed linen.
