Making life easier is the best thing about cleaning tools
Glad I gave up and bought a dustpan. While I initially thought $20 was a lot, I kept thinking that it doesn't need to be emptied every time you sweep a little. I have two cats whose life mission is to make sure the house is litter free all day. Follow them with a broom and that dustpan is a lot easier when you can just put it in a corner for the rest of the day and empty it once.
