Review on Premium Masticating Juicer: Extractor for Wheatgrass, Tomato Leafy Greens, Carrots and More - Cold Press, High Juice Yield, Easy Clean by Reza Cook

I have a penchant for masticatory juicers

A few years ago I bought a Victorio strainer which I believe is still made and sold today. This is a hand-cranked monstrous chewing machine built to process large quantities like huge batches of tomatoes that turn into tomato sauce in about 20 minutes. The Victorio works just like this electric auger juicer, and while I can't explain exactly how it works, I was able to see the Victorio working - the auger was placed in a cone with many small holes. Only the juice could be squeezed through the holes, and the seeds and husks passed through the auger and fell into the bowl while the juice slid down the chute into another bowl. I think that's how this electric masticatory juicer makes great juices - squeezing all the goodness out of whatever fruit or veg you put in it and giving you the best drink. This is an easy to set up and use juicer. It's really easy to clean, but like anything that "spills" through it, it takes a few minutes to clean up the parts. Not bad, but be aware that cleaning is required immediately afterwards - nothing rawer than dried juice and seeds. Oh, and please remember to remove large seeds like peach pits before shipping the fruit! He can take tomato seeds, even apple seeds, but not those huge pits. Whether you want to feel better or are considering a juicing plan for your health, get this juicer. You will not be disappointed.
