I had high hopes for this antenna. on my 2021 GMC Sierra. The truck stud has a male thread , but also has a smaller unthreaded tip that is recessed into the threaded base with the original antenna's internal threads as the base is completely hollow.The internal threads of this antenna are sealed and the truck base tip is unthreaded.The bottom is in the Antenna before the threads even engage. It's just impossible to install. Also, I thought this antenna would be flexible based on the description and pictures. However, it's quite rigid and doesn't look like it will bend even 45 degrees , without breaking. I haven't had a chance to test this because I couldn't install it, but I'm skeptical. I h have requested a refund and will return to this review pending the outcome.
