I gave this review 4 stars to begin with because it would be a bit of a shame if your phone lay on it to charge. But after a few months it started draining the battery. My wife was frustrated that it charged slowly or not at all, even though it seemed to work. After testing it the other day, she closed all the apps she had open and put her phone on it 84%, about five. Minutes later it dropped to 82%. Your phone can be charged easily when plugged in or used with other wireless chargers.
