NOT FOR DRONE USE per FAA regulations. The strobe sequence is VERY fast. According to FAR-AIM Β§ 23.1401 Light Collision Avoidance System. Section C. (c) Blinking Characteristics. The location of the system, ie the number of light sources, beam width, rotation speed and other characteristics must provide an effective flash frequency of at least 40 and at most 100 cycles per minute. The effective flash frequency is the frequency at which the entire aircraft anti-collision lighting system is observed from a distance and applied to each lighting sector, including any overlap that may exist when the system consists of more than one light source. If overlapped, the flash frequency may exceed 100 but not 180 cycles per minute.
