I ordered this dress because one of my best friends had an impromptu wedding and I had a week to get the long pink dress. It was the only thing I could find to arrive at the time that looked good. I had to wash the dress because it smelled like chemical perfume, luckily it's weathered. The dress is so heavy that I had to lift the straps a few inches because the dress was pulling them down and stretching them. The fabric is the thickest I have ever seen on a dress. If you ever go to one of those shows where you have to survive 21 days in the wild, pick this dress. I'm sure a bear couldn't rip it apart, it would keep you warm, and you could probably use it on your roof or in a hammock or catch big fish. However, once you catch the fish, it takes about a day to dry.
