Review on πŸ“Έ Canon PowerShot SX620 Digital Camera: Unleash Your Photography Skills with 25x Optical Zoom, Wi-Fi & NFC – Silver Edition by Nicholas Peters

Good color rendering, very poor sharpness

I can't tell you how disappointed I am with this camera. I wanted to point and shoot which would be a step ahead of my Samsung S7, which mostly does well in photography, but I wanted better macro photography and better color accuracy; Samsung does a terrible job of blurring out the reds. The color accuracy of the Canon SX620HD is pretty good. Unfortunately, none of the photos I've taken so far are sharp. I took photos in full light, used the settings correctly, and half-pressed the shutter button to focus. Focus sucks. I'm attaching some photos taken next to the Samsung where you can see the colors are better in the Canon but on the Samsung the phone's camera has much better sharpness. I didn't include a photo of a small flower that Canon won't focus on at all. Samsung gave it some smooth edges but focused on that. I am very disappointed in this camera.
