Review on πŸŽ’ Optimized Military Tactical Webbing Accessories for Men: Outdoor Plastic Belts and More by Paul Powell

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The buckle is too complex and unintentionally loosens. Blunt design.

I ordered it because of the great (cheap) price - now I understand why it's so cheap. The design of the buckle is unnecessarily complex. I was replacing a cable belt that I had for many years (10+) that recently broke. The Cabela belt worked well, you inserted the loop into the buckle and snapped it in place and you were done. At this point you need to manipulate the buckle to get it to close properly. I can't describe it, but it reminds me of something from the Three Stooges program. I can only assume that some bored rocket scientist tried to come up with a really complicated buckle. Maybe someone is trying to circumvent an existing patent? Also, the buckle doesn't want to stay closed, SURPRISE! It pops up unexpectedly and you hope no one notices while you struggle to reconnect it without drawing weird looks. I'll pay a few bucks more, get Cable, and bring back this bad design joke.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • sad packaging
