*UPDATE* I took off another star because it has been in use for less than 3 weeks (at work only) and it unravels and falls apart when the thumb is opened.Still works but shouldn't be as easy and fall apart quickly. I ordered this because for a week I have had numbness in some of my fingers that has been getting progressively worse. After checking with one of the doctors I work with it turned out to be a carpal tunnel symptom which I suspected.and ordered based on the reviews.I put it on at first and wasn't sure if it would work because I thought it would e too bulky for me to really use my hand effectively (I work on the computer all day). now Since then I've only been tired, during work to my surprise the typing worked fine and my numbness seemed to magically improve. I don't know if this is purely coincidental, but as long as my arm is better I will wear an orthosis. I took off a star (actually it should be about half a star) because it's not the most comfortable brace I can imagine. I just wish it was a little more form fitting.
