No complaints about the cartridges or print quality, and they are recognized immediately by the printer. I have a Canon TR8520. However, the ink capacity seems very low despite the XL listing. I haven't done the math to see if this is a good deal given the lower price compared to other cartridges. It's also possible that the problem was that the ink had dried and the capacity was limited that way. I don't use my printer very often and when I finally changed the cartridge because it wasn't printing anymore it looked like there was some ink left in it. Either way, the result is the same limited performance. I had the last cartridges maybe 6 months before they needed replacing. I can't really estimate how many sheets I printed, but really not very many; maybe 200 printed materials (without photos)?
