Quality and Style Combined: Carhartt Boys' Hooded Long Sleeve Sweatshirt Review

This sweatshirt is well made. Very soft inside, nice thickness, looks great. However, the sleeve length is very short. Bought a large for my medium height 12 year old (100lbs, 5ft 3in). The body of the sweatshirt fits as expected, but the sleeves are about 3 inches shorter. Sent it back because it didn't fit. Made for shorter, stockier bodies I think. He was so disappointed that it didn't work.

So I ordered it more than expected but my son liked the sweatshirt and didn't take it off. Says it's the comfiest thing he got for Christmas. This also benefits him with a hard-to-get color order. He's hoping that next year I'll order him a new one that fits him so he can wear it in the hunting season.

I don't know what this sweatshirt is all about😳. The sleeves are too short and don't match the shirt! How are these sold? To return. If weird sleeves don't bother you, the rest of the shirt is fine.

What I saw and ordered was orange on blue not white on blue. It would be professional to call someone and ask if this is acceptable. It's a gift, I won't be leaving and I haven't bothered to return it. Damn shame

I bought a large as I always do to fit, but the sleeves on this shirt are about 1-2 inches shorter than any other sweatshirt I've ever bought. The rest of the shirt is good. Maybe it was just this one, but I don't know. Hope this helps someone. 🤷‍♂️

The graphic on the picture was red but on the item I received it is white. It didn't really bother me, but if you're picky about things like this, then be careful with the buyer. Bought this as a Christmas present, haven't tried it on yet but seems ok.

This is a very nice hoodie, it's thick and grows before it wears out. If they had it in adult size I would buy it for my husband too.

We've had this sweatshirt for 3 months and paid $30 for it and this is how it looks now and of course it's too late for a refund!

I ordered a navy blue sweatshirt with orange lettering. Came dark blue with white lettering. Not that much, but definitely not that sweet. Sleeves look 3/4. We had to order something from the boys department because all girls clothes are about cuteness not warmth. You can have both!

Definitely a larger size, the sleeves are as short as the jacket is long. We sent it back. Shame as it was a fantastic looking hoodie and great quality.

They fit big like everyone said but if you order too big the kids will grow up and everything will work out. I just decided to make it too big and order a size smaller.

My 4 year old son loves this sweatshirt. We hike a lot and the nights get quite cold which is perfect for him to stay neither hot nor cold (he is an active kid and tends to walk on the warmer side).

The sleeves are 6 x 10. They are totally inconsistent with the rest of the sweatshirt's sizes. VERY disappointed considering several retailers carry the same brand and size. I just chose it because I thought it would be more convenient than shopping. It's not like this.

Were larger than expected but my kid likes roomy ones so being able to get a youth size $20 less than an adult size was great. Definitely big enough for a bigger husky if needed. The fiber seems to be of slightly lower quality than the last one we received about 3 years ago, but overall satisfied. Just a regular Carhartt sweatshirt. The name speaks for itself.

For some reason the length of the sleeves was very short and the body of the shirt was very long, odd fitting and that definitely looks wrong.

I ordered a size up for my grandson to give him room to grow for a few years. He liked the bright orange color and the city boy logo. The color matched his smile as he opened it. Wanted him to have a quality midweight sweatshirt. I've always trusted Carhartt since I was a kid on a farm.

I bought this for my son. He loved it. The torso fits perfectly, the sleeves are a bit short. He is 5ft 5in 101# Then I washed him. Warm water. Normally dry. Since it's 80/20 it shouldn't have gone down that much. The arms are now ridiculously short, with one being noticeably longer than the other. Very disappointed with the price I paid ($36 - not on Amazon).

It would be a great sweatshirt if the sleeves were the right length. Unfortunately they are 3/4 long which my son really doesn't like. Disappointment from Carhartt.

Excellent hunting sweatshirt for children. It's soft, warm and durable. The Carhartt brand seems durable and looks brand new after a few washes. Hunter Orange with a simple logo and brand name on the sleeve.
