This is a nice, thick collar with a short extra nylon lining sewn into the area that rests on the dog's neck. I ordered purple and the color matches the ad photo. I only gave 2 stars because it cannot be used on the tightest opening as the extra hole area is left on the flaps under the collar. I need to buy a tie to temporarily hold onto the rest of the collar so my pup doesn't ruin it by tearing or snagging on something while playing. So I would say the sizing range is too wide and this results in too much collar excess on the smallest fit. Or maybe they need to add another ring for the excess to slip inside.
