Works great after some tweaking

Bought to replace the body on my LR3 06-LR. The battery has not been changed and works perfectly. I think a new battery needs to be soldered in. 1st - taking apart my old one wasn't easy, but not as difficult as I expected. I used pliers with angled needles that have L-shaped tips. Open the key and place the beveled ends in the key hider to protect the key fob from movement and spread the pliers to separate the old casing. Carefully open the case and remove the key and motherboard. Now disassemble the new key fob and after removing the uncut key, pull out the tiny pin holding it in the swivel sleeve. You will need a small punch and a small hammer. . Also remove the pin from your old key where it connects to the swivel sleeve so you can swap keys. * Be careful not to lose tiny details. The old key must be inserted into the slot of the new rotating sleeve. . This is where you may need to put the key so that it fits into the hub's new slot. The old key may be a bit thicker. You will need a thin flat metal file. You may need the file width and/or a certain length. Compare the ends and only remove a small amount at a time. Once the key fits, reinsert the pin and mount the new key fob. Your key should work perfectly! I watched a few videos and found some tips. For example, wind up the spring so that the key opens properly.
