I'm satisfied, the product is exactly as described.

I would like to pay attention to a very comfortable keyboard. The key travel is really amazing, better than on the air m1. Personally, I didn’t even need engraving - everything is so familiar. For programmers, probably an absolute thrill. I switched for the sake of the display - and yes, the display feels much better, 120Hz is felt (smoothness is higher, but still not the same as on the iPad pro 12.9), the increase in display size is felt, the bangs do not infuriate. Watching videos, especially HDR, is much more enjoyable. But there is a caveat - for some reason, during the transition from the air m1 display, my eyes hurt. It's like they've adapted. A day later everything is ok. A similar story, by the way, was with the iPhone 120Hz after the iPhone 60Hz. As for performance. Air coped with my tasks, but pro is noticeably faster - the conditional Pixelmator opens with any number of projects at once, on m1 there was a slight delay on complex projects. Probably, within the framework of graphic design, there is no task that this laptop could not handle. Fits into all pockets and backpacks where the air m1 fits. Most likely, you won’t have to change your favorite backpack or bag. The design itself is cool, but I don’t see much point in such a weight. It seems to be slightly hollow inside. If desired, perhaps they could reduce the thickness and weight. But it still doesn't feel very heavy, unlike the pro 16. Price. Is there a drastic difference to the air m1 for the vast majority of users? No. Is there a drastic difference in price? Eat. Perhaps, even in the basic version, air m1 remains the best choice for 90% of buyers. The screen, in my opinion, is still not worth the overpayment. On the other hand. the cheapest 120Hz laptop for Windows costs about the same, but works much worse. The 16-512 air m1 version costs about the same as the pro m1 16-512. Therefore, if you still want 120Hz (as I do) or 16-512 is the minimum configuration, then why not buy exactly pro m1 14?

Pros
  • Keyboard Screen
Cons
  • Camera Price Weight
