I ordered this cable for a small multifunction printer from one of our stores. Last week, when employees were making lots of copies, the cable melted and caught fire - I've never seen that with printers. Fortunately, staff noticed this before the fire broke out. Today when I replaced the cable I cut it along with the real 18AWG cable. While both products had the same external thickness, one from Revain contained only a small amount of copper. Revain must fight counterfeit products sold on its website. We've had too many of these problems.
