Excellent quality mirror. The clamps have a lot of adjustment options which I needed when clamping the 1 1/4" rod. The reason for the 4 stars is that the clamping mechanism uses both the ball end where the mirror is located and the notched clamp/ Adjustment on the opposite end binds, so when the screw tries to tighten both sides at the same time, it can't tighten both sides evenly because it's in between them, and since the ball is too big an end, it tightens fine (which is good and the side you really need is tight, otherwise the mirror won't stay in the right position) but the prong clip end can't be tightened enough where everything is in, there's still a little gap. The photo shows , when the clamp is tightened, as I can get it out by hand, but there is still a small gap between the teeth.
