This anvil is just what the blacksmithing community needs. Affordable 1045 cast steel. Has great rebound, rings like a church bell and still holds up well. Large magnets are required, so take your old speaker or subwoofer apart to blunt the ring and attach to a good base. It's noisy. Remove and round off the horn when you're sure you can get it. Break up the edges with a serrated washer and plan to clean out the hardy hole. The hole is basically useless unless you have a 1 inch round bar that can be turned into a holding tool. One option for the hold would be to make a strong holding tool. Overall I'm very happy with the anvil, I have no idea
