I bought it with my induction hob. In general, most cast iron products hit the target because they are cast iron. It's a proven tool you can use to cook everything from breakfast to the world's best steaks. This one in particular is a favourite. It's big enough for a fairly large piece of meat, but small enough to maneuver around in my cramped kitchen. It heats up particularly quickly and I'm just a person who cooks for myself so I think it's the right size to fill with food and throw a feast. The best part is that it's a lodge, so affordable, high quality and pre-seasonal. That last piece is huge. i love this shop You really can take this thing anywhere. I plan to eat steak and eggs on a mountain top one day, and I'm going to take this thing with me, no questions asked. I imagine it will fit just about any camping gear you can think of. And it's made in America, if that catches your eye. Great product, low price, made by neighbors. I can't disagree.
