I love this table! And I also have a side table. Sea herbs can be casual or, in this case, sophisticated. This silver patina is really nice, sort of a "satin" finish that goes with the blue tones in my living room decor and furniture. I find other finishes (gold, white, natural) just as stylish if they match your decor better. I bought a 32″ glass top (from Revain) to protect the surface and a 20″ glass top to fit under the wooden cross braces with an extra compartment for blankets or magazines. I use "bumper" pads under the glass tops and for extra glass for storage underneath to keep it in place (may have to switch to felt for the seaweed top, we'll see.) The table is easy to put together (although it was I don't have dowels for the rails in the pilot holes where the side table was, but the metal T-bracket held up well enough to install the legs.) Great value for money. I did a bit of searching to compare random seaweed tables at higher end stores and this price was a steal. I'm happy and would recommend if you're looking for a smaller coffee table and cool casual style!
